As part of the Strategic Plan for Community Development, stakeholders talked about the need for resourcses to help implment the plan.  This page will be dedicated to said resources.

Inner City Reinvestment/Infill Policy

The Inner City Reinvestment/Infill Policy is designed to promote growth and development in the heart of the City, by providing incentives for, new development (housing and commercial) on vacant lots in previously developed areas, redevelopment of underused buildings and sites, rehabilitation, upgrade, adaptive reuse of existing buildings, improved maintenance of existing buildings and sites, and buisiness recruitment and assistance.

  • Tax Abatement Map – Geographical area of Taxs Abatements offered in the City of San Antonio.

The Strategic Plan for Community Development called for the creation of Reinvestment Plan Areas to focus energy into areas of neglect in the City of San Antonio.  The three areas selected and completed for Fiscal Year 2008-2009 were 1. Dignowity Hill, 2. Roosevelt Cooridor, and 3 Westside.  The Strategic Plan for Community Development, by use of the Inner City Reinvestment/Infill Policy is to locate and develop underutilized properties in the City of San Antonio.  Below are maps created to located said underutilized properties within each Reinvestment Plan Area.

Dignowity Hill Reinvestment Plan Area

  • Public Parcel Map – Parcels owned by the public in the Dignotiwity Hill Reinvestment Plan Area.
  • Vacant Parcel Map – Parcels, owned privately, considered to have little to no improvements situated on the property.

Roosevelt Cooridor Reinvestment Plan Area

  • Public Parcel Map – Parcels owned by the public in the Roosevelt Cooridor Reinvestment Plan Area.
  • Vacant Parcel Map – Parcels, owned privately,  considered to have little to no improvements situated on the property.

Westside Reinvestment Plan Area

  • Public Parcel Map – Parcels owned by the public in the Westside Reinvestment Plan Area.
  • Vacant Parcel Map – Parcels, owned privately, considered to have little to no improvements situated on the property.
